Stabilised peracetic acid cold sterilant
Hykleen Cold Sterilant is a stabilised peracetic acid product for cold sterilisation. Its formulation makes it simple, safe and fast-acting, and being biodegradable it is kinder to the environment than traditional methods.

Principle
- Its peracetic acid concentration reacts with cell-wall proteins and penetrates cells to oxidise their protein content. The peroxide content is an efficient cleaning agent and sterilant.
Application
- Used after dilution in high-purity water systems and medical and laboratory equipment
- Mainly used in dialyzer reprocessing systems
- Effective against bacteria and fungi

- Breaks down into oxygen, acetic acid and water when discharged to drain
- Shelf life: 12 months from manufacture
- Safety degassing system with splash-proof cap
